Water Leaks?

Condensate from the finned coil is collected in a drain tray and piped outside, if the finned coil is blocked with dirt or the drain tray is blocked or cracked, water drips onto the ceiling or worse onto expensive furnishings. Ensuring the ducting from the central unit mounted in the ceiling is well insulated and no breaks, holes or poorly fitted joints are evident. Cleaning the finned coil regularly to remove dirt and dust will also ensure the condensate drains safely away.
